Rough Luxe

Style experts are calling it Rough Luxe, the current trend for combining rough with luxury. Think stripped back brick walls, heavily grained wood floor boards, cast iron staircases, peeling paint and plaster as the back drop to glittering light fittings, heavy brocade curtains and velvet upholstery. We’ve seen it in bar and hotel design but it can work in a domestic setting too
